Intention in energy healing: what it involves, how to set it and hold it in vibrational therapy

Contents

Introduction

Before the first gesture, before the hands are even in place, something is already there: the direction given to the session. Intention in energy healing is the most discreet part of the practice, and undoubtedly the most decisive.

The word lends itself to two persistent misunderstandings. Sometimes it suggests a will to heal, which no energy session claims to do; sometimes a formula spoken at the start of the session.

Let us clarify the ground from the outset: this is about energetic and spiritual therapy, not scientific quantum technologies. No qubits, no computers, no computing lab: a field, a felt sense, a supportive stance.

This article describes what intention involves, what it never promises, how it is set and how it is held. It also shows how the curriculum of the Académie Internationale du Créateur Quantique works on it, module after module.

What intention in energy healing covers

Intention in energy healing is not a wish made in silence. It is a working direction, consciously held from the beginning to the end of the session.

It differs from the client's request, which arrives with its own words, history and urgency. The practitioner transforms that request into a workable orientation, compatible with their framework.

It also differs from a goal. A goal can be measured, ticked off and evaluated, whereas an intention opens a space without demanding anything of the outcome.

This distinction is anything but theoretical. In practice, it determines how the practitioner holds themselves during the forty minutes that follow, and what they give themselves permission not to control.

A direction, not a will to achieve a result

Will pushes; intention orients. The nuance seems subtle, yet it changes the entire atmosphere of the session.

A practitioner who wants to achieve something tenses up, and that tension can be read in the field. A practitioner who orients remains open to whatever arises, including what was not expected.

This openness is learned; it is not a personality trait. It is in fact one of the longest lessons of the practitioner's path.

Intention, attention, visualisation: three distinct acts

Attention works like a spotlight: it is directed, moves and stays on a specific area. Intention is more like the heading of a ship, steady while the spotlight sweeps.

Visualisation is just one aid among others. Some practitioners see, others feel, others perceive through sound, and none of these channels is a prerequisite for quality.

Confusing the three leads to exhausting sessions. You believe you are holding an intention when in fact you are forcing a mental image, which drains you without opening anything.

What intention in energy healing is not

First misunderstanding: believing that intention in energy healing heals, which it never does. Nothing in an energy session replaces a treatment or treats a medical condition.

Second misunderstanding: the all-powerful intention, the kind that would bend reality through the force of thought. This reading, widespread in part of the personal development literature, reflects neither the practice nor the Académie's ethics.

Third misunderstanding: intention as a secret technique that can be passed on in an afternoon. It is cultivated slowly, session after session, with outside feedback.

Those coming from another healing profession encounter these confusions very early, sometimes among their own clients. The subject has been addressed for the established wellness professional, who must hold two distinct vocabularies without ever mixing them.

Naming these three misunderstandings from the start avoids many disappointments. A student expecting instant power will be disappointed; a student expecting a discipline will find it.

Vibrational therapy: intention as a vehicle for coherence

In vibrational therapy, you do not work on an organ but on an overall state. Intention in energy healing acts as a tuner, setting the key from which everything else is organised.

A vibrational approach without a clear intention is not dangerous; above all, it is without much perceptible effect. Without direction, the practitioner's energy scatters into decorative gestures.

This is why the training emphasises inner stability before the first gesture. A coherent field is conveyed better than a protocol applied mechanically.

Vibrational coherence is first cultivated within oneself, through breathing, grounding and regular energy hygiene. The client then benefits from this state, without any promise of results being made.

Vibrational coherence and cellular light

Biophysics describes very weak light emissions at the cellular level, biophotons, and studies their degree of coherence. Vibrational healing sees this as a working metaphor, by no means clinical proof.

This caution is deliberate and constantly emphasised in class. Confusing a research model with a promise of healing is exactly what the Académie teaches students not to do.

Setting your intention in energy healing: the four stages

Setting an intention in energy healing takes just a few minutes, most often before the client arrives. These minutes are part of the working time; they are not an optional extra.

Four stages structure this preparation, in an order that is never reversed. Skipping them produces a session that is technically correct and empty.

Grounding, wording, consent, release

Grounding comes first. Feet on the ground, long breaths, awareness of the body: without grounding, an intention drifts and gets lost.

Wording comes next, in a simple, inner sentence in the present tense. It names a direction of support, never an expected result.

Consent is the third stage, and this one is spoken aloud. The client knows what is going to happen, within what framework, and gives their explicit agreement.

Release closes the sequence. Once set, the intention is deliberately let go, because holding it tightly would amount to forcing what one claims to support.

At every session, these four stages are played out again, even after several years of practice. Consistent regularity matters more than the sophistication of the ritual.

Holding your intention during the session

Holding an intention in energy healing does not mean repeating it. It means returning to the direction set each time the mind wanders from it, just as one returns to the breath in meditation.

The average length of a session is enough to produce several lapses. Noticing them without self-blame is part of the practitioner's skill, not a weakness.

When intention drifts: three signs to recognise

First sign: the practitioner starts watching for the client's reactions. Attention then slides towards looking for proof, and the session becomes distorted.

Second sign: fatigue sets in quickly, much faster than usual. It often betrays an effort of will substituted for the direction set.

Third sign: gestures follow one another with no connection to what is arising. The protocol runs on empty and the intention has left the room.

In all three cases, the correction is the same. Pause for the length of a breath, return to grounding, reformulate inwardly: a simple return, not a fresh start from scratch.

The client's intention: supporting without deciding for them

The client arrives with an intention, even if it is confused, even if it is poorly named. The work begins by welcoming it as it is, without correcting it straight away.

Next comes a shared reformulation, which turns a complaint into a direction. Wanting it to stop becomes, for example, finding a little space again.

This joint construction protects both people present. It prevents the practitioner from projecting their own agenda onto someone who came for something else.

What we never decide for the other person

A practitioner does not decide that a person must forgive, turn the page or change their life. They support a movement; they do not prescribe it.

The boundary is clear and comes down to one inner question. Am I supporting, or am I wanting in the other person's place?

Asking yourself this question honestly at the end of the day is as good as supervision. It reveals the sessions where you pushed a little too hard.

Wording: the words that open and those that confine

An intention in energy healing is worded in the present tense, in the first person, in terms of direction. Three simple criteria that rule out most clumsy wordings.

Opening verbs prevail: support, harmonise, sustain, allow to emerge. Closing verbs fall away by themselves: eliminate, force, compel.

Negation is another source of trouble. An intention worded against something keeps that something at the centre of the work, whereas it is better to name the desired direction.

Three wordings to rule out without hesitation

The first targets a named symptom, and immediately shifts the session into the medical realm. This shift is the most common mistake among beginners.

The second commits to a timeframe, such as "in three sessions". It creates an expectation of performance that weighs on both people.

The third speaks on behalf of an absent third party. You do not set an intention for someone who has asked for nothing, whatever good reasons may be given.

What the curriculum concretely works on regarding intention

The Méthode EVOCQ® approaches intention through the purification of the auric field and the release of limiting memories. A cluttered practitioner sets intentions coloured by their own history.

The SOLARIS training, devoted to vibrational ascension technologies and the Intelligence of Light, works on it from the angle of raising one's vibration and guidance.

Both programmes share the same prerequisite. You can only pass on what you have been through yourself, and no shortcut has ever gone the distance.

Progressive training, never a sudden click

The first months focus on grounding and energy hygiene, the foundations without which nothing holds. Intention is only explored in depth afterwards, once the foundation is in place.

Then come exercises in pairs, followed by supervised sessions with detailed feedback. A tutor's comment on a poorly set intention is worth all the manuals in the world.

The practice journal completes the system. Noting the intention set, then what actually happened, builds within a few months a verifiable discernment.

The precise arrangements of the curriculum, its pace and formats are presented during the discovery call. Details of the programme are sent on request via the contact page.

Table: aligned intention versus forced intention

The table below summarises the seven situations where the difference is most visible. It serves as a review grid after a session, by no means as a scoring scale.

Situation

Aligned intention

Forced intention

Start of the session

Setting a simple direction

Aiming for a specific result

Wording

Opening verb, in the present tense

Promise with figures or dates

Practitioner's stance

Open, grounded, relaxed

Tense, focused on proof

Client's request

Reformulated with them

Reinterpreted on their behalf

During the session

Regular return to the direction

Sustained effort of will

Bodily signal

Normal fatigue at the end of the session

Rapid exhaustion of the practitioner

End of the session

Sober sharing of what was felt

Announcement of an improvement to come

A session that tips to the right-hand side of the table is not a serious fault. It is a signal to adjust, to be revisited in supervision or in the journal.

Their journeys, in their own words

Valérie B. took the SOLARIS training. Her feedback fits in one sentence, and captures quite well the relationship between apparent simplicity and depth of work.

“An accessible training, a path that is both rich and simple. Enlightening, vibrant.”

— Valérie B., SOLARIS training. Google review.

This assumed simplicity is not an impoverishment. It reflects a teaching approach that introduces one gesture at a time, without an overload of vocabulary.

Ethical framework and the place of medical care

The energy approach taught by the Académie is strictly complementary. It is in no way a substitute for conventional medical care, nor for a prescribed treatment.

No intention, however aligned, treats a medical condition. When faced with an organic symptom, persistent pain or a health concern, the right course of action is to refer the person to a doctor.

Vocabulary matters: we support, we harmonise, we contribute to well-being, we encourage relaxation. We never write or say that a session treats or cures a medical condition.

The topic of intention in energy healing makes this framework even more necessary. Suggesting that an intention would be enough would be a doubly wrongful drift, both ethically and in terms of honesty.

Let us repeat it one last time: the quantum therapy discussed here is an energetic and spiritual practice, distinct from the scientific quantum technologies that belong to computing and computation.

Frequently asked questions about intention in energy healing

Should you state your intention out loud?

No, inner wording is enough in most cases. What is said out loud, however, is the framework and consent.

Can intention in energy healing replace a protocol?

No, the two work together and neither replaces the other. The protocol provides the sequence of gestures; the intention provides the direction.

What should I do if I cannot hold my intention?

This is common, and it can be trained like everything else. A return to grounding and a short reformulation are usually enough, and supervision does the rest.

Can an intention replace medical treatment?

No, and no serious person will claim it can. Energy support remains complementary to medical care, never a substitute.

Does intention belong to quantum physics?

No, and the distinction is essential. This is an energetic and spiritual approach, unrelated to quantum computing or qubit-based computation.

Is intention worked on from the start of the training?

It is named early, then explored in depth once grounding has been acquired. Supervised sessions are its true learning ground.
